How have you been? It’s been quite some time since my last post. I haven’t been around much on the blog because there’s so much going on in my life these days; great stuff actually!
Since the beginning of 2018, I have managed to close deals with my favourite brands and get selected for a conference in Munich on entrepreneurship! In addition, I have made the conscious decision to follow a vegan diet and I am open for your suggestions with regards to recipes, tips and would love to hear your personal experiences.
I feel like I am ready to do so many things at once but then again wonder whether that’s actually feasible. I have been thinking about restarting my personal handmade clothing line (a.k.a. Heyyo Urban Clothing for those who remember!) and taking on new clients for social media management. With regards to my first idea, I decided to photoshoot some items that I made along with my mom last year; two metallic bomber jackets with hand painted old school patterns.
I love effortless, cool street style and believe that these jackets are key pieces able to transform any look! Don’t you think?
In the picture above I am sporting an old DKNY denim shirt which has been hand painted by my mother.
I hold strong beliefs in the idea of sustainable fashion. Instead of bulking up with clothes and getting new ones again and again to please our greedy selves, we can simply transform a vintage piece into absolute coolness. It’s honestly the simplest thing to do and the most creative simultaneously. If you like handmade pieces you can check out my shop where you’ll find a variety of hand painted or knitted items that I have made through the years with my mom (oh and some second hand items as well!).
2018 is the year of the Dog, my Chinese Zodiac sign, so I guess it’s my year. And it’s definitely going to be the year of changes for the better.
Stay in the know peeps.
