It’s Sunday, 11am. And my tourist/little discoverer mode is ON.
I went to visit the Lincoln Memorial- the American national monument built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located on the western end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., across from the Washington Monument.
The Washington Monument is an obelisk on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., built to commemorate George Washington, once commander-in-chief of the Continental Army and the first American president.
Due to daylight the reflection is not quite visible in the visuals. However, during the night the reflection of the monument on the pool is simply magnificent.
So I in this travel post I am sporting:

Stop at Martin’s tavern, Georgetown, for Sunday brunch. A popular tavern serving American eats in both a cozy interior with wooden booths & outdoors.
